Shortly after meeting, Monica begins dating Lucas, a Gulf-raised burgeoning curator in Abu Dhabi. As their relationship progresses, a precarious dynamic develops between the two. Attraction morphs into tension; the relationship is thrown off balance by frequent banter and passive aggressive gestures.
